Previous Fairs
Three in-person and one online Sonoma Strong Healing Fairs have been held to assist our communities with recovery from emergency situations and other traumas and to provide education on alternative healing methods. Treatments such as massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, B-12 shots, energy healing, readings, coaching and more have been offered at the in-person healing fairs. It is the intent of Holistic Choices, Inc to continue to offer at least one free healing fair each year.
2020 Virtual Sonoma Strong Healing Fair
A free online healing fair was held during the month of April 2020 to assist with the COVID-19 situation and other traumas that our world is currently experiencing. Each day during April, a trained Practitioner, Doctor or Instructor offered a group healing session, a physical training session or provided information about how to stay healthy and understand what is happening. A total of 32 sessions and classes were offered. Replays of some of the sessions/classes are available on the Sonoma Strong Healing Fairs YouTube channel.
2019 Sonoma Strong Healing Fair
Sonoma Strong Healing Fair and Windsor Wellness Partnership presented a free healing fair to assist the community with recovery from the Kincade Fire and to give gratitude to the first responders. The healing fair was held on November 17, 2019 at the Town of Windsor Huerta Gymnasium. On December 18, 2019, the Town of Windsor presented Certificates of Appreciation to Sonoma Strong Healing Fair, Windsor Wellness Partnership, Diana Borges, Cherri Pedrioli and Rosa Reynoza for their efforts in organizing the event.
2018 Sonoma Strong Healing Fair
The 2018 Sonoma Strong Healing Fair was held on September 29, 2018 at the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building. Within a 7 hour period, about 1,000 people attended/participated. About 60 Practitioners and Doctors volunteered their time to support the community, with 35 Sponsors/Vendors/Non-Profit Organizations and 7 Speakers sharing their gifts and talents.
2017 Sonoma Strong Healing Fair
On December 9, 2017, the first Sonoma Strong Healing Fair was held to assist Sonoma County and the surrounding areas with recovery from the October 2017 wildfires and other traumas. The healing fair was held at the City of Santa Rosa Steele Lane Community Center. About 450 people, including about 45 Practitioners and Doctors participated in the 2017 healing fair.
What a marvelous fair, far exceeded my expectations. It was wonderful to see and feel the focus, concentration, care and enthusiasm from the practitioners…and the results and appreciation from those who received treatment and care. The organizers were wonderful, putting so much time, effort, heart and soul into making Sonoma Strong Healing Fair happen. And there was a lovely spirit from the dozens of people who assisted.
For me personally, I found it exhilarating, fun and rewarding to work with so many people who arrived with many varying situations and needs. To discover again and more deeply, the ability to be present and let myself find what worked, so each of my clients could benefit and enjoy. I am deeply grateful to be able to be a part of SSHF.
